Donald Denning
Donald brings more than 30 years of public and private sector experience in management, strategic planning, engineering, research and project execution to DELTAWRX. He is a leader in the effort to deploy a National Public Safety Broadband Network, having filed the first waiver to deploy a broadband wireless network in the public safety nationwide broadband spectrum by the City of Boston. Donald is a member of the National Public Safety Telecommunications Council’s Broadband Task Force, Interoperability, Assessment of Future Spectrum and Technology, Spectrum Working Groups. Prior to joining DELTAWRX, Donald spent six years as the Public Safety Chief Information Officer for the City of Boston, where he served as the lead technology officer for Boston’s public safety agencies. Donald had the honor of serving on a Public Safety Broadband technology panel held at the White House by invitation of the Vice President of the United States and is on the Editorial Advisory Board for Urgent Communications. Prior to Donald's entry into the public sector, he was Research Scientist, Member of Research Staff and Principal Engineer at HP Labs, Intel, Compaq and Digital Equipment Corporation. He possesses a number of patents and invention disclosures and has served his community for more than 20 years as a firefighter/EMT."
